Ophthalmologist takes Upper East Side condo

David Liebergall bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 151 E. 83rd St. in the Upper East Side from Kimberly G. Britten and Robert L. Wade for $960,000 on April 11.

Britten and Wade paid $925,000 for the property in June 2005. The 1,200-square-foot condo, Unit #8C, is in 151 E. 83rd St., a development that houses 77 units on 11 floors. It was built in 1929.

Dr. Liebergall is an ophthalmologist at Liebergall & Paskowski Eye Associates MD, PC, which is located in Suffern. He serves as the chief of ophthalmology at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Greenwich Hospital, Yale University and his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Ms. Britten is a senior partner and managing director at Ogilvy & Mather, an advertising, marketing and public relations agency.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 261 condo sales in the Upper East Side during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $935,971.
